String theory suggests that spacetime may be non-commutative at length scales close to the Planck length. If this is true, then inflation possibly stretches out such scales to detectable sizes in cosmological observations. In this talk, I will discuss our current efforts to search for the signature of non-commutative spacetime in Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) data. Using the CMB data from Planck2018, we find a factor of three improvement compared to the previous constraints from Planck2013 data. I will also talk about the existing systematics and challenges that we face in this pursuit.
